Role description
Data Analyst Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007 Duration: 1 Year W2 Contract Work Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Hybrid (10% Onsite – no set schedule, onsite as needed for orientation) Position Summary Key Responsibilities β€’ Collaborate with vendor partners to understand, refine, and optimize data analytics solutions. β€’ Conduct thorough validation and quality checks on vendor-provided leads. β€’ Manage and track lead lists through various workstreams for efficient processing and outreach. β€’ Support proactive compliance campaigns to encourage voluntary participation from remote sellers. β€’ Identify and recommend opportunities for new compliance campaigns. β€’ Partner with vendors to improve outreach materials for a more cooperative taxpayer tone. β€’ Analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights for increased compliance rates. β€’ Report on campaign effectiveness, offering data-driven recommendations. β€’ Monitor trends in remote seller behavior and non-compliance patterns. β€’ Identify process improvements in lead identification and compliance strategies. β€’ Act as a liaison between Client and vendors, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution. β€’ Maintain data integrity through regular validation, cleaning, and integration processes. Required Skills & Knowledge β€’ Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and data interpretation. β€’ Proven experience in data validation and quality assurance. β€’ Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). β€’ Experience with data management workflows and processes. β€’ Vendor coordination and oversight expertise. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Preferred Skills & Knowledge β€’ Experience with state tax compliance processes, particularly involving remote sellers or e-commerce. β€’ Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. β€’ 3–5 years of experience as a Management Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. β€’ Experience in tax-related services or administration. β€’ Knowledge of continuous improvement / LEAN methodologies. Minimum Requirements β€’ Minimum of 3 years’ management analysis experience. β€’ No degree required – any equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience considered.
