Data Management Analyst 4 - Data Governance BSA/AML

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Data Management Analyst 4 to join their team. As a Data Management Analyst 4, you will be part of the Data Governance department supporting Financial Crimes Compliance Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Management Analyst 4 - Data Governance BSA/AML Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management. • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted Data Management challenges requiring in-depth evaluation. • Document use case inventories, data element inventories, and standard data quality checks. • Evaluate data quality metrics and conduct audits to benchmark the state of data quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop companywide data governance strategies. What's Needed? • Ability to manipulate data via Excel (Vlookups and pivot tables) at a minimum. • Experience pulling data from authorized sources using SQL and PowerBI skills. • Experience with analyzing data quality defects and performing root cause analysis. • Proficiency with data governance concepts and tools. • Strong oral and written communication skills, including process documentation.
