As a Data Management Analyst, you will be a core member within our data management team. You will be supporting the development and maintenance of our enterprise data standards, metadata management, data quality analysis and supporting our change initiatives.

As our next Data Management Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our enterprise data metamodel, analysing data quality issues, and embedding data governance into change programmes. Your ability to think critically and communicate clearly will be essential in driving improvements and supporting our data strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Data Metamodel
• Maintain and curate data dictionaries, definitions, relationships, and classifications.
• Develop data lineage diagrams to visualise data movement and transformation.
• Create and manage business rules and data quality standards.
Data Quality
• Analyse and triage data quality issues, identifying root causes and business impacts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data quality rules, reports and automated checks.
• Monitor data quality KPIs and support structured resolution of issues.
• Document findings, recommendations, and remediation progress.
Data Design
• Embed data governance and standards into change initiatives.
• Assess impacts of change on data, applications, and processes.
• Support data mapping, validation, and lineage updates throughout project lifecycles.
• Create test criteria to ensure data rules meet business requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years’ experience as a Data or Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in financial services, ideally financial advice.
• Understanding of data warehousing, cleansing, migration, ETL, and modelling.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and cloud-based CRMs like Salesforce or Dynamics.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, GDPR compliance, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
