Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Manager with strong project management skills, deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and significant experience working with data, data management, and metadata analysis. This role supports product owners and cross-functional teams by coordinating releases, managing timelines, improving data quality, and ensuring deliverables align with business goals.
This is not a technical developer or Agile pod lead role — we're looking for someone who can manage projects, teams, and data with confidence, clarity, and structure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate release schedules across multiple projects using Agile tools
• Lead weekly team meetings to review roadmaps and resolve project issues
• Collaborate with three product owners to align priorities and track delivery
• Establish partnerships with source system data owners to understand and document requirements for data usage, scope, limitations, attribute definitions, and linkages to other datasets
• Analyze, query, and manipulate data per defined business rules and procedures
• Perform root cause analysis for data errors and recommend steps for remediation
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for managers and senior leaders
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of own work; validate findings and ensure correctness prior to submission
• Work within a stringent deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate status reporting and provide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams on issue tracking and resolution using issue management systems
• Implement and measure data quality and controls; ensure adherence to standards
• Determine business impact level for data quality issues and recommend long-term solutions
• Familiarity or prior experience working within a Platform Operating Model (POM) is highly preferred
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5–7 years of experience in program or project management
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and Agile maturity
• Solid experience in data management and metadata analysis
• Experience with data quality, root cause analysis, and data issue remediation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
• Familiarity with logical data models and how they relate to business processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and use of issue management systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational, documentation, and presentation abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Accounting preferred
• Experience in banking, product/financial services, auditing, or compliance
• Knowledge of big data environments and how they are structured is a plus
• Experience with Jira or Kanban tools (nice to have)
