Data Mapping Consultant [only on w2 (USC or GC)] Remote Contract Must Have This candidate will help with doing data mapping (ETL), and understanding data attributes. (For example, moving data from a legacy database that might be storing data as ("Name," "Phone" to a newer database with columns "CustomerName," "contactNumber") How would they write a SQL query to map and tranform? (This is only one example, but it gives you an idea of what data mapping and validating data and data attributes. This candidate will be able to query data, combining a lot of different data. This person will need to understand how API validations work. VERY strong XCEL and SQL. Getting into the requirements, getting involved with lead analyst and breaking down into smaller chunks. The impact is doing analysis, working with engineers and devs to understand development. Once the development is completed, the validation data/ testing/ and understanding the business domain. Biggest sell is the team. Working with different technologies, getting to learn/ touch Azure and Databricks in the environment. Qualifications: Required: • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities • 3+ years of related experience • 3+ years of SQL experience • Experience in data mapping and data validation • Experience working with Agile methodology or KANBAN • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Point and Visio 2010 • Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or another Project Tracking System • Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues • Experience complying with data security standards and working with enterprise-wide systems • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes • Ability to identify root cause and conduct initial investigation into problems as they arise • Must have proven experience in communicating and collaborating with all levels of management • Ability to partner with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements • Ability to clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level • Ability to validate that new software releases are production ready and provide documentation for it to end users • Consistently demonstrates personal ownership of tasks, projects and job performance Preferred: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred • Experience with SQL on Teradata, Oracle, and/or SQL server • Experience with API requirements analysis and design • Experience with or willingness to learn new cloud technologies
