• • NO 3rd Parties or Sponsorship Role Title: Data Mapping Specialist Client: Financial Service/Bank Employment Type: Contract Duration: Until April 2026 Preferred Location: Remote with travel once a quarter to NY Role Description: We are seeking a hands-on Data Mapping Specialist to support critical data integration initiatives between Snowflake and Oracle systems. This role combines strong technical skills with analytical problem-solving to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data flows across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain data mappings and views to support ETL processes between Snowflake, SQL databases, and Oracle environments. • Execute testing and validation to ensure data moves accurately and transformations occur as intended. • Troubleshoot and resolve data mismatches, working closely with internal teams to identify root causes across ETL, code, or system environments. • Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data sources and requirements, ensuring data is accurately mapped and transformed. • Support ongoing enhancements and triage issues related to data integration, view development, and data quality. • Provide feedback and insights to improve data flow processes, testing practices, and performance. Requirements: • Strong SQL development skills (experience with Snowflake preferred). • Working knowledge of Oracle databases and related environments. • Hands-on experience with data mapping, view development, and ETL processes. • Proven ability to test and validate data flows, including troubleshooting data mismatches between systems. • Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues across code, ETL processes, and downstream environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams.
