Role Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Data Mapping Specialist to support critical data integration initiatives between Snowflake and Oracle systems. This role combines strong technical skills with analytical problem-solving to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data flows across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain data mappings and views to support ETL processes between Snowflake, SQL databases, and Oracle environments.
β’ Execute testing and validation to ensure data moves accurately and transformations occur as intended.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data mismatches, working closely with internal teams to identify root causes across ETL, code, or system environments.
β’ Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data sources and requirements, ensuring data is accurately mapped and transformed.
β’ Support ongoing enhancements and triage issues related to data integration, view development, and data quality.
β’ Provide feedback and insights to improve data flow processes, testing practices, and performance.
Requirements:
β’ Strong SQL development skills (experience with Snowflake preferred).
β’ Working knowledge of Oracle databases and related environments.
β’ Hands-on experience with data mapping, view development, and ETL processes.
β’ Proven ability to test and validate data flows, including troubleshooting data mismatches between systems.
β’ Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues across code, ETL processes, and downstream environments.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams.
