Role description
We are currently seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst on behalf of a leading local authority client. This contract role is pivotal to the successful delivery of a major transformation programme and involves migrating legacy data into the MOSAIC case management system.
This is an opportunity to take the lead on technical migration tasks, working in a collaborative and delivery-driven environment alongside internal ICT & Digital teams, external partners, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead data extraction, transformation, and load activities from legacy systems into MOSAIC.
• Collaborate with ICT&D teams to validate, format, and prepare datasets in line with project timelines.
• Use Access Group migration documentation to deliver structured, accurate data conversions.
• Support iterative test cycles, resolving data issues and ensuring readiness for go-live.
• Provide technical support and informal training to internal teams as needed.
• Liaise with project managers, business leads, and vendors to maintain clear communication throughout the migration process.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven expertise with the MOSAIC case management system, including form structure, workflows, portals, and role configuration.
• Prior experience delivering successful public sector data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of data quality principles, reference data, and testing practices.
• Comfortable delivering against deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting go-live and post-implementation data management.
Desirable (Nice to Have):
• Knowledge of SSIS and SQL (queries and stored procedures).
• Familiarity with MOSAIC’s security model.
• Experience with NHS integration tools (Spine, Mini Spine, MESH, MOLES).
Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with a proactive and adaptable approach. You’ll be confident engaging with senior stakeholders and equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve technical issues.
• Organised, time-efficient, and results-focused.
• A natural team player with strong communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a wider delivery team.
