Role description
Contract Data Migration Analyst - Pensions - Inside IR35 - Hybrid About the Company: Working with a market leader within Pensions supporting a number of high profile member data migration projects. About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Pensions Data Migration Analyst to support data migration activities within our pensions administration systems, specifically focusing on migrations to the administration platform. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of member data throughout the migration lifecycle and is key to our overall growth plans. Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Mapping: β€’ Analyse source and target the admin platform data structures to identify mapping requirements. β€’ Collaborate with technical teams to define transformation rules and ensure alignment with business needs. Data Reconciliation & Validation: β€’ Perform detailed data reconciliations between legacy and target systems. β€’ Validate migrated data against business expectations. β€’ Identify and help to resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps. Migration Execution Support: β€’ Support test migrations, dry runs, and live cutovers. β€’ Work closely with migration developers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Stakeholder Engagement: β€’ Liaise with pensions administration teams, data services, and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve issues. β€’ Provide clear documentation and reporting on migration progress and outcomes including but not limited to: β€’ Weekly progress reports β€’ Issues and reconciliation logs β€’ Data Dictionary β€’ Handover to BAU documentation Quality Assurance & Governance: β€’ Ensure compliance with data governance, GDPR, and internal quality standards. β€’ Contribute to the development and refinement of migration policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications: β€’ Proven experience in pensions data migration, ideally within Compendia, IntelliPen, Altair, UPM, Mantle, Bancs or other admin platform environments. β€’ Strong understanding of UK DB pension schemes and associated data structures. β€’ Advanced Excel and SQL skills or other data interrogation tools. β€’ Familiarity with data migration tools and ETL processes. β€’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. β€’ Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience. β€’ Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
