Data Modeler

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain data models that enable scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data structures meet organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business and technical requirements. Work with stakeholders to capture data requirements and translate them into effective data structures. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to implement models in databases, warehouses, and cloud platforms. Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality. Optimize data models for scalability, performance, and usability across analytics and reporting platforms. Create and maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeler / Data Architect. Strong expertise in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar). Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and dimensional modeling. Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries. Knowledge of semantic/graph data modeling (RDF, OWL, Ontology). Familiarity with modern platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse. Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: In person
