🚨 We're Hiring: Data Modeler – Finance & Capital Markets 🌎 Location: Remote (U.S. candidates only) 📊 Domain: Financial Services | Capital Markets 🧠 Experience: 5–8 years Are you a data modeling expert with a passion for financial systems? We’re looking for a Data Modeler to join our team and design scalable, high-performance data solutions that power trading, risk, and compliance across Capital Markets. In this role, you'll work closely with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using modern cloud technologies. 🛠️ What You’ll Do: • Design and maintain data models aligned with the Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) • Model time-series, reference data, and transactional flows for Capital Markets • Collaborate on schema design using AWS, Spark, Parquet, Iceberg • Define data standards, metadata management, and naming conventions • Optimize models for performance, scale, and regulatory reporting • Ensure semantic consistency across domains in partnership with business teams ✅ What We’re Looking For: • 5–8 years of hands-on data modeling experience • Proficiency with tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner • Strong grasp of relational, dimensional, and lakehouse modeling • Experience working with Capital Markets data – trades, positions, risk, etc. • Familiarity with Parquet, Iceberg, and modern data formats ✨ Bonus Points: • Experience with AWS data services, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT • Understanding of data governance, lineage, and compliance • Agile delivery experience (Scrum teams preferred) 💬 If you're based in the U.S. and ready to make an impact in financial data architecture, we’d love to connect.
