We are sourcing a Data Modeler to work at our client's location in Westlake, TX.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
• Strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional) at both a project and enterprise level
• Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units.
• Data Modeling Tool such as Power Designer, Oracle Designer, or Erwin
• Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams
• Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
• Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL)
• Solid grasp of Database technologies, techniques, and trends
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus
• Experience with data governance and metadata management tools and standard methodologies is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to explain Data structures to a non-technical audience
• Results-oriented with proven ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills
