Hiring: Senior Data Modeler (Hands-On)
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ OR Coral Springs, FL (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract / Long-Term Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with strong hands-on experience designing enterprise data models and scalable data architectures in financial services environments.
This role will work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to design high-performance data structures across cloud and on-premise platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enterprise data models for complex data environments
• Develop logical and physical data models supporting data warehouse solutions
• Ensure data governance standards and best practices are followed
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to optimize data architecture
• Mentor junior data team members and guide modeling standards
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in Data Modeling / Data Architecture
Strong hands-on experience with ERwin or similar data modeling tools
Expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts
Experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, and Oracle Exadata
Experience in Financial Services / Banking environments
Preferred:
• Enterprise data governance experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
