Job Summary
We are seeking a LeadΒ Data ModelerΒ with deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying robust ServiceNow solutions, specifically across CSM (Customer Service Management) and ITSM (IT Service Management) modules. This leadership role involves hands-on development, platform architecture, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow solutions with business objectives.
an experienced and innovative Data Modeler to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data products on Google Cloud. In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights by creating robust architectures that integrate seamlessly into our enterprise ecosystem.
The Data Modeler will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with Data Product Owners to understand product requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and design solutions that meet operational and analytical needs.
This position requires a deep understanding of the architecture of business data source systems, their structures, communication protocols, and interfaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mastery of data analysis, logical data modeling, and the ability to identify opportunities for data reuse and transformation. You will design data architectures that address gaps, optimize performance, and enforce enterprise standards in cybersecurity, governance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
β’ Architect and oversee enterprise-wide data modeling initiatives
β’ Lead the development of scalable data models for enterprise applications
β’ Develop and enforce best practices for schema evolution and data interoperability
β’ Define data modeling standards and frameworks for the organization
β’ Work with stakeholders to implement data governance and security controls
β’ Perform advanced data analysis to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with business needs.
β’ Create logical data models or object models of moderate complexity to address business challenges.
β’ Develop data modeling automation frameworks to enhance consistency
β’ Implement advanced metadata management and data quality monitoring
β’ Define data transformation requirements and implement efficient solutions.
β’ Implement enterprise data management practices, standards, and frameworks for Data Integration
β’ Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed
β’ Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on SQL queries and ETL pipelines
β’ Build automated validation processes for data integrity checks

β’ Must Have
β’ At least 10+ years of experience working as Data Modeler.
β’ Extensive experience in designing data models for large-scale systems
β’ Expertise in GCP architecture and BigQuery
β’ Expertise in SQL optimization and data modeling techniques
β’ Ability to write, tune, and interpret SQL queries.
β’ Strong experience with version control systems
β’ Strong ability to present complex technical concepts to leadership
β’ Extensive experience in architecture, construction, and implementation of data-intensive solutions
β’ Strong understanding of metadata management and data cataloging
β’ Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
β’ Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, reverse engineer and optimize existing ETL pipelines.
β’ Hands-on experience with Python, Dataflow and Cloud Composer
β’ Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, and offer solutions to complex clinical problems.
β’ Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
β’ Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
