Role description
Asite Data Modeler (Asite → Unifier Migration) 📍 Coventry, UK (Hybrid) | 💷 £575 per day (Inside IR35) 🕒 6-month contract Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced Asite Data Modeler to support a large-scale Asite to Oracle Unifier migration for major capital delivery programme within the utilities sector. You will analyse and model Asite data structures, design the target data model for Unifier, and support the build and execution of ETL pipelines to migrate large volumes of capital delivery data. This includes cost sheets, business processes, document control, workflows, and metadata aligned to BIM and CDE standards. This is a hands-on, technically focused role with significant exposure to APIs, data modelling, automation, and data quality assurance. Key Responsibilities • Analyse Asite data structures, metadata, workflows, and permissions to define migration scope, risks, and strategy • Design and document detailed data mappings between Asite and Unifier, including cost, documents, and business processes • Build and execute ETL pipelines using APIs, PowerShell, Python, and integration tools • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and audit logging to support migration sign-off • Support the configuration of Unifier shells, cost structures, business processes, and document workflows • Harmonise naming conventions, classifications, and approval workflows across platforms Essential Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Asite configuration and data extraction • Deep understanding of the Asite data model and metadata • Experience handling large-scale data transformations and automation • Strong experience with ETL tools, scripting, and API-based integrations • Ability to design logical and physical data models for capital delivery platforms • Understanding of BIM, CDE, and construction data standards • Strong English communication skills • Experience working in cross-cultural and distributed teams If this is relevant to your experience, please apply with your CV and we’ll be in touch.
