Data Modeler Westlake, TX | Hybrid Rate: $55 - $63 w-2 Our client, a leader in its industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Data Modeler to work in a 12-month or longer contract position in Westlake, TX. This position is hybrid, with onsite work two weeks a month. Candidates must be local to the metro Dallas-Fort Worth area. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis. Responsibilities: • Lead the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models across key initiatives. • Collaborate with agile teams to align data models with business goals and architectural standards. • Oversee conformance to data strategy and enterprise data taxonomy. • Guide and mentor junior data modelers across product areas as needed. • Communicate data structures clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements: • Extensive experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, 3NF, dimensional). • Expertise in dimensional modeling and creating conformed dimensions. • Hands-on with tools like PowerDesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin. • Strong SQL skills and understanding of OLTP systems. • Experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams. Preferred: • Experience with Snowflake. • Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
