Data Privacy Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Mapping Analyst for 6-month contract with a client in Chicago IL 60606 Job Title: Data Mapping Analyst Location: Remote/Chicago IL 60606 Duration: 6 Months Contract Rate: $55-$60/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Summary: We are seeking an individual to support steady state asset inventory and data mapping (AIDM) initiative on the Privacy team within the Legal department. Responsibilities: With the various global requirements for companies to have robust and detailed data flow diagrams and privacy impact assessments, this individual will play a central role in compliance efforts and with privacy team. The individual must be a self-motivated professional who is well organized and capable of working cross functionally on complex matters across different time zones. On a day-to-day basis, the individual will interact with business and IT leaders to reassess, update, and/or modify existing data maps and privacy impact assessments. The individual will also be responsible for evaluating the assessments to ensure responses are consistent and meet and regulators’ standards. A background in privacy is preferred. Experience And Qualifications: • 2+ years of relevant work experience. • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. • Ability to self-prioritize, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills: • Experience with OneTrust. • CIPP/US or CIPM/US or similar.
