Position Summary
CMS Energy is seeking a Data Processing Specialist II to support ongoing utility and gas construction projects. This role will be responsible for data collection, analysis, dashboard management, reporting, and supporting key project and business operations. Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, data management expertise, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to gas construction projects.
β’ Maintain and update electronic dashboards using tools like Tableau and/or Power BI.
β’ Prepare visual reports and presentations using PowerPoint for supervisors and senior leadership.
β’ Assist with meeting facilitation, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining project documentation.
β’ Draft procedures, job aids, and process manuals.
β’ Submit detailed reports and visual management summaries to stakeholders.
β’ Travel approximately 30% to participate in working sessions and meetings.
β’ Maintain daily production and inventory tracking reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
β’ Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI for dashboard creation and maintenance.
β’ Strong data management and analysis capabilities.
β’ Ability to develop and present professional-grade presentations and reports.
β’ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
β’ Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset.
β’ Familiarity with construction environments is a plus.
β’ Experience using Visio, Access, or OneNote is advantageous.
Education & Experience
β’ Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
β’ Minimum of 2β4 years of experience in data processing, reporting, or administrative project support.
