Data Product Owner – Reporting & Analytics (Wealth/Finance Domain)

Title: Data Product Owner – Reporting & Analytics (Wealth/Finance Domain) Location: Oaks, PA(Hybrid) Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Product Owner with a strong background in reporting and analytical dashboards within the wealth or financial services domain. The ideal candidate must have been working exclusively as a Product Owner for the past 5–6 years, driving data products, and should not have primary experience as a Scrum Master or Business Analyst. Key Responsibilities: • Own and drive the data product lifecycle for reporting and analytics solutions. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities. • Translate business requirements into clear product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Lead the development of analytical dashboards and reporting solutions aligned with business needs. • Work closely with data engineering, BI, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data products. • Ensure effective stakeholder communication across business and technical teams. • Prioritize features based on business value, data insights, and user impact. • Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvements. • Ensure compliance with financial/wealth domain regulations and data governance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 8–15 years of overall experience with minimum 5–6 years as a Product Owner (mandatory). • Strong experience in data products, reporting, and analytical dashboards. • Proven experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services domain. • Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar). • Strong understanding of data platforms, data modeling, and analytics workflows. • Expertise in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning. • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). • Familiarity with regulatory reporting and financial data compliance. • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent. Important Note: • Candidates must have been working in a Product Owner role consistently for the last 5–6 years. • Profiles primarily aligned with Scrum Master or Business Analyst roles will not be considered.
