Role description
We have partnered with our client in their search for a skilled and motivated Data Mapping and Ingestion Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Expertise in writing SQL queries with a specific emphasis on Snowflake, having experience with its migration from Azure.
β’ Utilize Power-BI for creating insightful and visually appealing dashboards to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
β’ Proficient in Excel, with an ability to use functions, including Pivot Tables, for effective data analysis and reporting.
β’ Knowledge of Python is preferred, with the ability to leverage it for data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks.
β’ Apply hands-on scripting and development skills to enhance data processing efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
β’ Design and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline data analysis processes and ensure timely delivery of accurate information.
β’ Implement data validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used for analysis and reporting.
β’ Experience with Alteryx or similar data preparation tools for efficient data blending, cleansing, and transformation is preferred.
β’ Utilize Excel Pivots for specific reporting requirements, showcasing an ability to extract meaningful insights from large data sets.
β’ Understanding and experience working with Snowflake, demonstrating proficiency in navigating the platform and leveraging its capabilities for data analysis is preferred.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
β’ Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
β’ Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
