Role description
6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT HYBRID £38,000 PER YEAR Role Purpose This role has been created to support the audit and compliance function in compiling, extracting, and reconciling 2-3 years of historical brand data across two different financial year structures. The organisation has transitioned from a non-calendar financial year to a January - December calendar year, meaning historical records are misaligned across reporting periods. The post-holder will work through archived data sources, identify and extract relevant information, and populate standardised due diligence templates accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Extract and compile brand-level data from archived internal records and legacy systems • Reconcile historical data across two different financial year formats (previous fiscal year structure vs. current January–December calendar year) • Accurately populate standardised due diligence and reconciliation templates with extracted data • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or errors in historical data and flag appropriately • Maintain a clear audit trail of data sources, changes, and decisions made during the reconciliation process • Liaise with the Audit Lead to report progress, escalate issues, and confirm data interpretation where required • Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with internal data governance policies • Deliver against agreed timelines and milestones for the due diligence project Essential Skills & Experience • Proven experience in data entry, data reconciliation, or audit support roles • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to work • Ability to work with large volumes of messy, incomplete, or legacy data • Understanding of financial year reporting structures and how data maps across different periods • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or equivalent data tools for data extraction and organisation • Ability to follow existing templates and processes without deviation • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently • Comfortable working in ambiguous data environments where information quality may be inconsistent Desirable Skills & Experience • Background in finance, audit, compliance, or records management • Experience supporting due diligence or data migration projects • Familiarity with brand or marketing data structures • Experience working across multiple reporting period formats This is a 6-month Fixed-Term contract & a hybrid role.
