Summary:
Will be supporting a large-scale redaction and data remediation initiative to remove proprietary information across a very high volume of files as part of pre-/post-TSA activities. Contractors will review documents, apply precise redactions, and produce documentation to support data stewardship and risk compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Document Review & Redaction
• Analyze large volumes of files across formats (MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PDFs, and related file types).
• Apply redactions to remove Wells Fargo proprietary or sensitive information according to defined policies/playbooks.
• Validate redactions for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; perform quality checks across samples/batches.
• Data Remediation & Stewardship
• Identify, track, and remediate sensitive data artifacts.
• Maintain detailed logs, audit trails, and evidence artifacts to support compliance and sign-off.
• Analysis & Matching
• Use intermediate-to-advanced Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) for data matching, tracking metrics, and reconciliation.
• Cross-reference document inventories, metadata, and control lists to ensure full scope coverage.
• Risk & Governance Alignment
• Execute work in alignment with risk foundations, data governance requirements, and information handling standards.
• Escalate anomalies, edge cases, or policy ambiguities and propose remediation options.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work independently while providing clear status updates, throughput metrics, and blockers to leads.
• Partner with information security, legal, and risk teams to confirm redaction criteria and acceptance thresholds.
Qualifications:
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Hands-on experience with document review and redaction in a corporate, legal, or compliance context.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF/IFS, COUNTIF/SUMIF(S), text functions, PivotTables).
• Working knowledge of file types and tools: MS Access, Visio, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat (redaction tools).
• Demonstrated analytical skills and data matching experience across large datasets or inventories.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to operate independently under minimal supervision.
• Foundation in risk, compliance, or information governance. (preferred)
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts or secure data handling practices. (preferred)
• Experience with large-scale remediation or migration projects (TB-scale a plus). (preferred)
• Familiarity with content repositories (e.g., SharePoint, network drives, ECM systems) and eDiscovery concepts. (preferred)
