Role description
Our client, a large government contractor, is looking to hire a Data Science Analyst for a 12-month remote contract. The consultant will be dedicated to analyzing data related to fraud because of identity verification and validation challenges. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the ethical, responsible, and compliant development and deployment of AI systems, particularly those that impact human behavior.
The consultant will be working to design and implement behavioral analytics models to surface anomalies and indicators of insider risk across multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
Required Skills
β’ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.
β’ If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
β’ 3+ years of experience as a data engineer / data analyst
β’ Experience with Machine Learning/AI based solutions to large scale enterprise problems solving anomaly detection, entity behavior evaluation and prediction, and data quality improvement
β’ Experience with data platforms and analytics tools (specifically Databricks and Zingg)
β’ Experience with NoSQL, R, or Python and Spark
β’ Experience with advanced data modeling and how to make that data usable for meeting mission requirements (including entity resolution)
β’ Experience implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technologies
β’ Experience in working with highly structured data
β’ Experience with data visualization packages
β’ Data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Ploy for communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.
