Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. You will be responsible for applying advanced statistical and computational methods to extract insights from large, complex datasets. This encompasses the entire data lifecycle, from extraction and transformation to cleaning, modeling, and visualization. Develops and implements machine learning algorithms, conducts predictive analytics, and provides data-driven recommendations. Ensures data quality and adherence to data management standards.
THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION (1099 POSITION)
Key Skills: Data lifecycle management (extraction, transformation, cleaning, modeling), database analysis, data management standards, policies and procedures, data quality assurance, data mining, data warehousing, application of advanced data science techniques, AI/ML for insight extraction, predictive analytics.
Tools/Languages: Python, R, SQL.
Duties
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategies.
Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and Spark.
Conduct unsupervised learning to uncover hidden patterns within datasets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize ETL processes for data integration.
Design and maintain databases ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and C to create algorithms for data processing.
Perform data mining and analytics using tools like SAS, Looker, and Talend.
Deploy models into production environments while ensuring scalability and performance.
Engage in natural language processing tasks to enhance user experience through AI-driven solutions.
Stay updated on advancements in quantum engineering and big data technologies.
Qualifications
Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and model training techniques.
Strong experience with Python, R, SQL for database querying and management.
Familiarity with Hadoop for handling big data applications.
Knowledge of linked data principles and analytics best practices.
Experience with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
