Data Scientist

Description We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analysis, business knowledge and machine learning/AI techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of applications, data sources, and cloud-based vendor solutions. The successful applicant will play a key role in developing key reports, scalable models, deploying AI solutions, and supporting strategic decision-making across various business units. Design and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Architect, build and maintain databases with effective design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Deploy machine learning models into production environments using model deployment best practices on cloud platforms. Support the development of dashboards and visualization tools using BI platforms for stakeholder reporting. Stay current with emerging trends in AI and analytics to continuously improve modeling approaches. Excellent understanding of SQL database/design/programming, ETL Processes, and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience working with data using structured (SQL) and/or unstructured (NoSQL) approaches. Experience with or exposure to data visualization principles and practices, especially with Power BI or Tableau. In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus. Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve end user problems. A team player with good time-management skills and the ability to maintain a friendly demeanor at all times. Travel requirement of up to 20% on a regular basis.
