Role description
Expert Data Scientist [$100/hr]
As referral partner, we are posting for experienced Data Science and Analytics professionals to contribute to a high-impact collaboration with a leading AI company.
Experts will generate reasoning-based data analysis samples that help improve advanced AI systemsβ ability to interpret and reason over complex datasets.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your analytical and engineering expertise toward shaping the next generation of intelligent analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze large structured datasets provided by partner organizations.
β’ Design reasoning-based analytics questions that require multi-step problem-solving and data interpretation.
β’ Write and validate Snowflake SQL queries (using DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks) to answer those questions.
β’ Produce clear, human-readable explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights.
β’ Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer).
β’ Ensure consistency and quality through peer collaboration and reviewer feedback.
Ideal Qualifications
β’ Strong experience in data analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Python (experience with DuckDB or pandas preferred).
β’ Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence.
β’ Experience working with tools like iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub.
β’ Excellent written communication skills β ability to explain complex reasoning clearly.
β’ Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline (Bachelorβs minimum; advanced degree preferred).
Project Timeline
β’ Duration: ~2 months
β’ Commitment: 15 hours a week
β’ Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
