Job Description:
Leads cross-functional teams to determine, define and deploy complex predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet business objectives. Evaluates business objectives and determines stakeholder needs. Chooses best fit methods, defines algorithms, validates and deploys models to achieve business results. Performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models.
Position Overview:
Client is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Airplane Systems Integration β Data Scientist with a minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling generative AI models that drive operational efficiencies and data driven leadership decisions. A strong background in Python development and familiarity with generative AI technologies is required.
Position Responsibilities:
β’ Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
β’ Developing and implementing machine learning models.
β’ Creating data visualizations and reports.
β’ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
β’ A bachelorβs degree or higher is REQUIRED.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development.
β’ Proficiency in Python and R, with experience in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
β’ Experience with Python APIs
β’ Linear and Logistic regression models in Python with stats models, logit, and sklearn libraries.
β’ Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Pandas, NumPy).
β’ Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation in production environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Experience with Agile (ADO, JIRU, etc)
