Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to join their fast-paced data and technology team. This hybrid role involves both project-based work and ad hoc analytical support.
Location: Richardson, TX (Hybrid –Tuesdays/Thursdays)
Employment Type: Contract through 10/31/2025 (Potential for extension or conversion to full-time)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No overtime expected)
Responsibilities
• Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to real-world business problems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support and deliver data-driven insights
• Develop and maintain models using Python, R, and SQL
• Experiment with and implement generative AI/LLM solutions for internal projects
• Leverage tools like LangChain to build AI applications
Requirements
2–3 years of hands-on experience in a data science role
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and LangChain
• Experience working with generative AI and large language models
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical topics clearly
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with modern MLOps and cloud-based development environments
