Data Scientist New York, New York (100% Remote) Long-Term Contract $60/hr Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join a cross-functional data team within this Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment leader located in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in modeling and experience in data science and analytics, as well as software engineering practices. This role involves close collaboration with data analysts, data engineers, ML engineers, and software engineers to deliver production-ready AI solutions to assist in strategic decision-making, enhance analytics capabilities, and video quality insights. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in data science with a focus on machine learning modeling • Strong proficiency in Python and key libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, TensorFlow/PyTorch) • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems • Experience with Large Language Models and natural language processing, including fine tuning and prompt engineering • Experience working with real time streaming data • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and collaboration skills • Experience with end-to-end model deployments included basic architecture design, data storage solutions, monitoring and alerting Responsibilities: • Design, develop, implement, and support data science and machine learning models focused on analytics insights and video quality and performance optimization and smart use of AI innovations • Analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and use statistical models to make predictions • Collaborate with our cross-functional team to integrate models into production systems and ensure scalability • Work closely with data analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Partner with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and model deployment infrastructure • Support front end and back-end engineers in model integration and API development • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make improvements where necessary • Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical What’s in it for you? • Join a leading media & streaming organization at the forefront of video innovation • Opportunity to grow your skillset across AI, machine learning, and media tech • Weekly Paychecks • Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits
