Job Description:
The Express Growth Data Science team is seeking a dynamic and versatile Data Scientist to drive product-led growth. This role involves leveraging data to deeply understand customer lifecycle behaviors—from acquisition and engagement to conversion and monetization. You’ll guide strategy, measure success, represent customer performance across the product, and uncover opportunities to elevate the experience.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Lead strategic analytics projects and present actionable insights.
• Analyze customer engagement, purchase, retention, and conversion patterns.
• Own and drive growth metrics related to product engagement and monetization.
• Develop predictive models for customer usage, engagement, and retention.
• Create analysis frameworks for robust and high-quality insights.
• Build automated solutions to scale Data Science efficiency.
• Act as liaison across Growth, Finance, and Go-To-Market teams.
• Lead forecasting and target-setting frameworks for Growth KPIs.
• Partner with product and enablement teams to ensure analytics measurement.
• Build and maintain dashboards for self-service data insights.
• Generate hypotheses, design experiments, and support test performance readouts.
Requirements (What You Need to Succeed):
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Physics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong expertise in statistics and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency with SQL or Hive for large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages.
• Skilled in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Adobe Analytics or Amplitude (a plus).
• Strong business insight, communication, and collaboration skills.
