Job Title: Data Scientist V
Duration: 8 months (with potential for extension)
Location: Onsite in Menlo Park, CA
Weβre seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-impact Integrity & Support team focused on Verification Applications. This is a strategic metrics development and analytics role, not a model-building position. You'll dive deep into experimentation, metrics design, and data storytelling to measure and improve the authenticity and safety of user verification across platforms.
You thrive in metrics-focused environments, are passionate about integrity and user trust, and bring a mix of technical rigor and business acumen. If you're looking to own your work end-to-end, make an impact on user authenticity, and drive key business outcomes through measurement, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data-driven projects from definition to execution: define metrics, design experiments, analyze outcomes, and present actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (PMs, Engineers, DSs) on high-visibility initiatives.
Develop and operationalize new measurement strategies (e.g., authenticity scoring, harm metrics).
Conduct root cause analyses and influence product strategy based on data.
Qualifications
8+ years in data analytics roles with advanced SQL proficiency.
Strong background in A/B testing, experimentation, and product analytics.
Proven experience working within large organizations and cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working in ambiguous spaces and driving clarity through data.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Math, Stats, CS), or equivalent experience. Masterβs or PhD preferred.
