Data Scientist - Hybrid - Outside IR35About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, build predictive models, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making. You will work with large datasets, apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, and help shape data-driven initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities
β’ Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources
β’ Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
β’ Design and conduct experiments (A/B testing, hypothesis testing) to inform product and business decisions
β’ Build data pipelines and automate workflows in collaboration with data engineering teams
β’ Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to monitor key performance indicators
β’ Stay current with emerging data science techniques, tools, and industry best practices
β’ Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
β’ 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role (adjust based on seniority)
β’ Strong proficiency in Python or R
β’ Experience with SQL and working with large datasets
β’ Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
β’ Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to diverse audiences Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
β’ Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
β’ Experience deploying models into production environments
β’ Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
