Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate as part of a central insights team to develop frameworks that deepen the clientβs understanding of player behavior and game dynamics.
β’ Formulate and test hypotheses about the relationships between player sentiment, engagement, and monetization, exploring both leading and lagging indicators.
β’ Conduct exploratory data analysis and build statistical models to connect complex sentiment data with player telemetry for the same audiences.
β’ Transform and prepare longitudinal survey and other complex datasets for robust analysis.
β’ Advise on survey design and methodology to optimize data quality and analysis potential.
Requirements
β’ Ph.D. in Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience; or M.S. with 4β6+ years; or B.S. with 6β8+ years of relevant experience.
β’ Proficient in Python and SQL for large-scale data analysis, including work in distributed environments (e.g., Spark or Databricks).
β’ Experience in exploratory data analysis using both ordinal and continuous data to derive meaningful insights and inform business decisions.
β’ Expertise in causal inference methods applied to observational panel data (e.g., fixed effects, IPW).
β’ Strong background in modeling longitudinal sentiment data, including hierarchical or latent growth models.
