Description
β’ Seeking an Applied Data Scientist specializing in computer vision and image-based data to drive innovation within a pharmaceutical R&D division.
β’ Role will be at the forefront of developing, fine-tuning, and optimizing advanced Computer Vision (CV), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Generative AI models to enhance clinical and aesthetic programs.
β’ This role is a balance of research and practical application, working with emerging AI technologies to create cutting-edge solutions for image analysis in healthcare and life sciences.
Responsibilities
β’ Assist in the development of AI-driven projects involving Computer Vision and Generative AI for images.
β’ Contribute to the fine-tuning of CNNs and other deep learning models for image processing in pharmaceutical applications.
β’ Support the research and implementation of state-of-the-art AI techniques to optimize model accuracy and robustness.
β’ Help optimize LLM and CV frameworks for efficiency and scalability.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of AI-driven solutions into existing workflows.
β’ Stay informed about emerging AI trends and methodologies to contribute to advancing company research.
β’ Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements
β’ BSc or MSc in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
β’ Experience in machine learning, computer vision, or related areas.
β’ Familiarity with Computer Vision, CNNs, and Generative AI for images.
β’ Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Postgres databases.
β’ Experience working in a Linux environment and/or cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
β’ Understanding of ML model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in AI-driven solutions.
β’ Good communication and collaboration abilities.
β’ Eagerness to learn and contribute to AI advancements in pharma.
