Summary:
The main function of this role is to assist in Org Planning tool area data scientist coverage for IC5 type of work - data science discovery analysis to identify opportunities with engineering actionable insights to help the product team to deliver cover value better and move the needle of the topline metrics; metrics definition, product / feature release reporting and adhoc data analysis.
Responsibilities:
β’ Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement.
β’ Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
β’ Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.
β’ Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
β’ Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.
Qualifications:
β’ 8+ yearsβ experience in data science, statistics, analytics and reporting
β’ Experienced in either programming languages such as SQL, Python and R, big data tools such as Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
β’ The ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics.
β’ Experience working with large datasets.
β’ General analytics reporting, opportunity analysis
Desired Skills:
β’ Stakeholder managements, share insights clearly, not too technical, operations background.
β’ Product Analyst experience, able to make decisions on key projects for team/should be prioritizing, able to sign off/prioritize projects using business logic.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $90.00 - $96.50 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
