Role: Data Scientist – Llama
Location: Remote (Work on PST hours)
Duration: Contract
Rate: $75 - 80/hr. on C2C
Qualifications
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer with a focus on NLP and deep learning.
• Hands-on experience working with Llama 2 / Llama 3 models (fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization).
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers (Hugging Face), and Lang Chain.
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning frameworks (PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA, Deep Speed).
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma) and RAG architectures.
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, tokenization, embedding’s, and model evaluation metrics.
• Experience with cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
