Data scientist Bellevue WA - Fully onsite Rate is also okay for feasible candidates Job description Key Responsibilities • Design, build and deploy machine learning and GenAI models for advertising use cases such as forecasting, conversion prediction, bidding optimization, recommendations and insights • Develop LLM based solutions using prompt engineering, embeddings and basic RAG for campaign diagnostics and decision support • Design and analyse AB tests and experiments; apply causal inference techniques DiD, propensity scoring, DML, uplift modelling to measure true incremental impact • Ensure models are scalable, explainable and production ready following Responsible AI and governance standards \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Business Collaboration • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, operations) to identify and scope high-impact opportunities where data science and AI can drive measurable business outcomes • Translate strategic objectives into actionable analytical initiatives with clearly defined success metrics and timelines \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Team Leadership • Provide hands-on mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, guiding them on project delivery, modelling best practices, code quality and experimentation \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Required Skills • Python, SQL, ML frameworks • Experience with Azure Databricks or large-scale data platforms • Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation and causal inference • GenAI experience – Prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, basic RAG • Good to have understanding of the Digital Marketing domain
