Role description
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for an Mid-level Data Scientist Manager to join our client's chemical research and development/manufacturing team in Urbandale, Iowa. This person will model complex problems, uncover actionable insights, and identify business opportunities using advanced statistical, algorithmic, data mining, and visualization techniques. β€’ W2 contract only, we cannot accept C2C at this time β€’ This position can be fully remote or local onsite. Must Haves: β€’ Masters Degree β€’ Minimum 4-6 years in relevant Data roles β€’ Experience with translating non-technical requirements into experimental designs and data acquisition strategies to gather relevant datasets. Roles and Responsibilities: β€’ Continuously applying and evaluating new methodologies and experimental approaches to validate and enhance results. β€’ Integrating external third-party data sources as needed to enrich company datasets. β€’ Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data prior to analysis. β€’ Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear, concise manner. β€’ Designing and maintaining automated anomaly detection systems, monitoring their ongoing performance. β€’ Delivering comprehensive analytical reports and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders and end-users. β€’ β€’ Only candidates selected to be moved forward in the recruitment process will be contacted by SRG's Recruitment Team to schedule a conversation.
