Additional Comments:
We're looking for a data scientist who knows how to make text data understandable and impactful. This role is about uncovering insights - not just building and deploying models - and communicating them clearly. Prefer Elk Grove; Austin or SCV are ok. They need: 5+ years of hands-on experience doing text analysis and NLP to get insights from text data (see below)
β’ 5+ years experience with Python
β’ Strong skills in data visualization (Tableau is preferred; Python is ok)
β’ Familiarity with SQL is a plus
In this role, they will:
β’ Analyze and interpret text data using NLP techniques (traditional ML, deep learning, and LLMs)
β’ Focus on generating insights that humans - not just algorithms - can use
β’ Build visualizations that clearly communicate patterns and findings
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to present insights in engaging, interpretable ways

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
