Job Title: Lead Data Scientist Location: Weston, FL (Onsite preferred – 8 AM – 5 PM EST) Duration: 3 months (high possibility of extension based on project performance) Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) Pay Rate: • W2: $55–$60/hour • 1099/C2C: $70/hour (max) Sponsorship: US Citizens only Introduction We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our data science initiatives, mentor a team of data scientists, and drive impactful, AI-powered solutions that support Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work at the intersection of data science and business strategy, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to deliver measurable business growth. Required Skills & Qualifications • Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field • 7+ years of experience in data science with a proven record of building and deploying ML solutions • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar statistical programming languages • Expertise in ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, deep learning, ensemble methods, time series analysis) • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) • Strong SQL skills (including window functions, CTEs) and experience with relational/NoSQL databases • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML services (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure ML Studio) • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data analysis • Experience developing and maintaining robust data pipelines • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders • Leadership experience mentoring and guiding data scientists • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (US Citizen) Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Experience in a SaaS environment • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology • Experience with NLP, LLMs, NLU, and RAG techniques (Generative AI) Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists • Translate business problems into data science solutions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders • Design, develop, and deploy ML models and statistical solutions to solve real-world problems • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality • Evaluate, optimize, and monitor model performance in production • Promote best practices in data science development and foster a data-driven culture • Contribute to the strategic data science roadmap, aligning projects with business goals #tech #onsite
