Role description
This is an opportunity for a Data Scientist to play a significant role in building Machine Learning and AI Solutions for customers. The successful candidate will have commercial experience and enjoy working as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
• Play an active role within a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver machine learning and computer vision solutions.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to develop and implement core components of data-driven solutions.
• Explore, process, and analyse large and complex datasets from multiple sources and formats.
• Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and clients through effective visualisation and storytelling.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
• Present proposed approaches and outcomes to customer sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong technical knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and AI-driven solutions.
• Experience with data visualisation and applying structured storytelling techniques to communicate insights.
• Solid understanding of predictive modelling, statistical analysis, and pricing or commercial analysis.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, including real-time, stored, and geospatial data.
• Proficiency in programming for data analysis and machine learning.
• Background in data science, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong motivation to work closely with customers and deliver impactful solutions.
