Role description
This Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate position is a 33-month fixed-term role in collaboration with The Tomato Stall (trading as Isle of Wight Tomatoes). The successful candidate will become part of the company during a dynamic phase of expansion and capability development. The aim of the KTP project is to embed advanced analytics and machine learning to integrate crop growth and sales forecasting into a single decision-support system, for agile and intelligent supply chain planning. The Associate will lead, facilitate and manage the mapping of existing systems and processes, design an integrated decision-support infrastructure, understand key features of sales and crop growth data to select the best forecasting models that align with forecasting needs, and integrate the sales and growth forecasting to support agile planning decisions. This position will be based at The Tomato Stall (trading as Isle of Wight Tomatoes), Main Road, Arreton, Isle of Wight, PO30 3AR. Any hybrid working or flexible working arrangements will be considered in line with operational requirements and at The Tomato Stall's discretion. Interviews are currently anticipated to take place in two stages. Stage 1 (technical assessment) is expected to be held on 21 and 22 September 2026, with Stage 2 (soft skills assessment) anticipated to take place on 28 and 29 September 2026.
