Job Title: People Analytics Officer Department: Partnerships & Services – People & Culture Directorate Campus: Choice of Belfast or Coleraine Salary: £39,975 - £47,416 per annum Two positions available, fixed-term for 9 months / Full-time Closing Date: 7th September 2026 Reference Number: 043446 - ABOUT US - We are a University with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland. Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The post holder will make a significant contribution to the development of the People Analytics Section as a ‘centre of expertise’, utilising modern and innovative techniques, solutions, systems and processes. They will provide high‑quality reporting using insight and analysis to support evidence‑based decision‑making across the People and Culture function and the wider University. They will also be responsible for innovative information development, ensuring data is accurate, relevant and well‑presented. Working closely with colleagues across the People and Culture Directorate, the role contributes to the delivery of the University’s wider strategic objectives. - ABOUT YOU - - An Information Technology-related degree, or an equivalent qualification. OR - A degree, or equivalent qualification, and substantial experience in HR systems and analytics. - Substantial experience as a professional in people analytics and/or HR systems, including corporate reporting and processes. - Experience in working with minimum supervision on complex data analytics. - Experience of developing innovative people analytics systems and processes.
