Job Description
Weβre looking for a Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in marketing analytics and natural language processing (NLP) to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the development of models and insights that unlock the value of both structured marketing performance data and unstructured textual data such as customer feedback, call center transcripts, and digital behavior signals.
This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on using semantic analysis, machine learning, and advanced statistical methods to drive better targeting, personalization, segmentation, and campaign effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and deploy NLP models for semantic analysis, topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and intent classification across multiple customer touchpoints.
β’ Design and execute experiments (e.g., A/B tests, uplift modeling) to evaluate marketing strategies and personalize experiences.
β’ Build segmentation models and customer journey analytics using marketing performance data, CRM, web analytics, and engagement signals.
β’ Translate complex findings into compelling visualizations and narratives for marketing, product, and executive stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sourcing, distribution, data engineering, and analytics teams.
β’ Stay current with the latest NLP research, tools (e.g., transformers, LLMs), and marketing data science best practices.
β’ Contribute to codebase standards, documentation, and reproducible pipelines using tools like Databricks.
Required:
β’ Masterβs in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field - Or relevant experience to showcase the mastery in these fields.
β’ 5+ years of experience in a data science role, with a strong track record in marketing analytics and NLP.
β’ Proficient in Python and key libraries: pandas, scikit-learn, spaCy, transformers, gensim, NLTK, etc.
β’ Experience with cloud platforms .
β’ Demonstrated experience with semantic search, text embedding models, and unsupervised clustering of textual data.
β’ Ability to communicate clearly and influence non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
β’ Experience working in Databricks with PySpark and MLOps
β’ Completed projects demonstrating the ability to transform messy data into polished deliverables, with shareable code available upon request or via GitHub.
β’ Familiarity with marketing platforms (Salesforce, Qualtrics, Pardot, GA4, Coveo, Hootsuite, Log Rocket, Stova).
β’ Experience working with call center transcripts, survey verbatims, and social media data.
β’ Exposure to large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or RAG pipelines.
β’ Experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI and MicroStrategy.
