Our customer is hiring a Data Scientist — with at least 3-5 years of experience working with complex datasets, data modeling, and analytics tools. This is a contract-based position (1 year) with the possibility of extension. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico or the United States; experience in telecommunications (Telco) companies is highly preferred.
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
Strong skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Experience in the Telco industry is a strong plus.
Advanced degrees or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields are highly desirable.
