Data Scientist

Description This role supports a strategic modernization initiative focused on migrating critical analytical and model code from SAS to Python. The Data Scientist will analyze existing SAS programs to understand business logic, statistical methodologies, and data transformations, then guide AI-assisted translation into Python. Must-haves Strong SAS and Python expertise Experience validating model outputs Proficiency with Git, and professional use of LLM-based coding tools. Nice-to-haves Exposure to credit risk models, IFRS9, and experience in highly regulated environments.
