In this role, you will play a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform federal policy and strategic decision-making in support of U.S. industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform in-depth data analysis of inbound, outbound, and intra-agency datasets to uncover insights related to supply chain resilience and trade trends.
• Identify, assess, and help resolve data quality issues across multiple platforms and systems.
• Lead or support data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
• Design and implement data management workflows that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop custom data visualizations, reports, and tools to communicate findings effectively.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from stakeholders, supporting both recurring and special projects.
• Assist in testing and validation of data systems and analytics products.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in data science, statistics, analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Experience with ETL processes and data cleansing techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting federal agencies or large-scale public data projects.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts, trade policy, or economic development.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
