Role description
Data Scientist - Engineer
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
Experience working with Apache Spark and Databricks workspaces for advanced analytics.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI, with an understanding of UX design principles for effective data storytelling.
Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation techniques.
Experience with multivariate statistical analysis and tools such as SIMCA for data exploration and predictive modeling.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with business, engineering, and product teams.
Ability to integrate diverse data sources (e.g., PAT, LIMS, MES, OSIsoft PI) for end-to-end process analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
Industrial Automation - Technical education
The contractor will support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated equipment, as well as ensuring validated states are preserved through application backup and restore.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintaining automated equipment (PLCs, motion control, HMIs, RFIDs, robots, and vision systems).
Perform repair and replacement of computers connected to manufacturing equipment.
Execute application backup/restore to maintain validated system state.
Support integration and configuration of automation technologies.
Document activities per quality and regulatory standards.
Provide flexibility to support business demands (overtime, holidays, weekends, or night shifts when required).
