Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid) Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Data Scientist on behalf of our client in Columbus, OH. This role is part of a high-impact Enterprise Analytics team focused on driving business growth through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with effective communication skills to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights that enhance customer experience and business performance. Key Responsibilities • Apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large, complex datasets • Develop and deploy predictive models to solve business problems and support decision-making • Perform exploratory data analysis and large-scale experimentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Technology • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and data-driven recommendations • Present insights and findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership • Research and implement modern machine learning, AI, and data science methodologies • Contribute to the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions Required Qualifications • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field OR Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in data science or analytics • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or R • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques • Familiarity with tools such as RStudio, SAS, or NoSQL databases • Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of predictive modeling methodologies and advanced statistical techniques • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or scikit-learn • Exposure to big data tools and distributed computing frameworks • Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS) • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms • Experience in financial services or other data-driven industries • Understanding of building scalable data pipelines and model deployment
