Data Scientist - London, UK (Fully REMOTE) | £599 - £699
We're working with a leading digital transformation consultancy driving high-impact AI and ML initiatives for global enterprise clients on this exciting opportunity.
This is a high-impact 6-month contract for a Data Scientist who thrives at the intersection of analytics and engineering. You will be instrumental in building robust data products that measure platform health and ML/AI adoption using a cutting-edge stack including BigQuery, dbt, and Python.
The Role
• Own the end-to-end analytical data modeling lifecycle in BigQuery using dbt to provide actionable business insights.
• Architect and scale reliable data pipelines utilizing SQL, Python, and distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Scio, or Beam.
• Define and track mission-critical metrics for developer productivity, platform health, and the success of AI/ML integrations.
• Design and deliver story-driven, self-serve dashboards using Looker or Tableau to empower cross-functional decision-making.
• Drive data excellence by implementing CI/CD for dbt models and mentoring team members on engineering best practices.
What You'll Need
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Data Engineering with expert-level SQL skills.
• Proven track record with dbt and cloud data warehouses (specifically BigQuery) for complex modeling.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Flyte.
• Strong Python proficiency for data analysis, automation, and building scalable data processing scripts.
• Previous experience in experimentation, ML/AI metrics, or measuring software developer productivity is a major plus.
