Data Scientist Hybrid | Charlotte, NC Rate: $45 - $55 w-2 Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to work on a 6-month + contract position in Charlotte, NC. This position is hybrid, onsite four days a week, and candidates must be local to the metro area. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis. Responsibilities: • Assist in the implementation and customization of the new AI tool. • Clean, aggregate, and analyze large data sets to ensure successful integration. • Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to refine AI processes and improve outcomes. • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and provide analytical support. • Present findings and insights to stakeholders, adapting communication to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical expertise. Requirements: • 2-3 + years of IT experience in data-related disciplines • Highly proficient in SQL. • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tool implementation. • Ability to handle large data sets and extract actionable insights. • Strong command of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms. • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex ideas clearly to stakeholders. • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule with four days on-site and one day remote in a typical office environment. Preferred Skills: • Experience with analytical and statistical software such as SAS or Alteryx. • History of using a data science toolkit such as Python or R.
